Who would know what you will become in the future, what life awaits you, and what the future will bring? Life can be happy or sad, success or failure, regret or satisfaction. But whatever life brings, do the best and live the life you ever wanted.

Being pregnant and expecting a baby at a very young age. Yes, I'm a teenage mom. Most girls are thinking about their clothes, shoes, or what to wear but I've been pregnant at the age of 16 and delivered a healthy baby boy at age 17. Followed by 3 more boys at the age of 20,21, and 24. I have 4 children.

I am now 29 and when maturity hits me, that's when the time I realized that there is nothing I can do because I'm already here, already here far from who or what I wanted to be, but it was not too late. So cheer up and learn from my 4 Whys and how to turn your mistakes into motivation as a teenage mom.

Why I didn't finish my studies?

“It's not too late for you to study”. “You can study again if you want”.Even if I wanted to, now that you have kids to take care of, all the chores you have to finish, and a sideline to make some money to sustain your needs and help your husband it is not easy as they say. I already have priorities. Seeing these children finish their studies is much more worth it than I could ever wish for. However, if I have given a chance I would take the opportunity and study again.
Why didn't I think of the consequences?

“You're young but that is not an excuse”. “You already know what is right and wrong”. That's often what people say but they do not know it unless you got into the situation. Being a mom of 4 kids is so tiring emotionally and physically. Hearing your baby cry makes you want to cry also. The words you keep on saying to a teenage mom are very stressful, they know they made a mistake so instead of reminding them of the mistake, help them deal with the situation, please motivate them and guide them, someday that person will be thankful to you.
Why I'm stuck to this?

“That's what you want then deal with it?” I take this word positively, I'm standing with the mistake I've done to learn from it and make it as a motivation. Just move forward, that is the only thing that will help you, I know you're anxious, scared, and full of doubt. stay strong and keep yourself surrounded by people that love you, you will be better soon, think about the dreams you want for your family and a beautiful future for your kids, Don't ever think of giving up.
Why I ended up with this kind of life?

It's not the end girl. You're young, it's not too late for you. Don't be pressured. Always think that what is happening now is only the beginning of a new chapter in life. All the tears will go and will be replaced with a smile.
To all teenage moms out there, you have to fight and be strong for your kids.
I didn't regret this life, I can say to myself that being a teenage mom is not a mistake, looking at your child growing with you is an achievement, not everyone has been given a chance to raise children, and I cherish it and I am thankful to God.
At the end of the day, only you can help yourself. All your struggles will be paid off and all your dreams will come true. Pray hard, do your best and God will do the rest, a million thanks to God.
Great job on discussing such an important topic! It's so important for teenagers to be aware of the risks and consequences of pregnancy, and you did a great job of highlighting those.
